COLD WEATHER OVERFLOW SHELTER – WINTER 2023-2024
Overview prepared by Catholic Charities Catholic Charities is providing emergency shelter through a Cold Weather Overflow Shelter Project to unsheltered homeless at a local motel (with a total of 15 units set aside and a total capacity of 30 beds for the overflow shelter). The City of New Bedford’s HSPN has received, reviewed and voted on the 2022 Final CoC Rank and Order of Projects. the HSPN’s Performance Review Committee (PRC) comprised of HSPN members with no relationship–financial or otherwise–to any of the applicants for funding in the FY2022 round received, reviewed, vetted, evaluated, scored and ranked all applications for this competition.
